Thanksgiving will be here and gone before we know it! You spend lots of precious time prepping and cooking a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner. I’m here to make sure you get the most out of your Thanksgiving leftovers so nothing goes to waste!
These Turkey and Swiss Hawaiian Roll Sliders with Everything But the Bagel Seasoning are the most delicious little sandwiches! Especially if you are entertaining a crowd all weekend long, they are a perfect finger food that everyone will enjoy! And they are so easy to make with leftover turkey and cranberry sauce in just 30 minutes!
Tips for making turkey and Swiss Hawaiian sliders
- Try your best to keep the Hawaiian roll tops and bottoms in one piece when you cut them in half. Carefully use a really sharp knife and slowly cut through the middle, trying to keep the 2 halves even.
- Try to select slices of leftover turkey that are pretty thin and similar in thickness.
- Make sure you pour or brush the sauce as evenly as possible so each sandwich is equally delicious!
- Don’t have Everything But the Bagel Seasoning? You can substitute with poppy seeds.
- Want extra sauce for dipping? Double the recipe for butter sauce!
What type of pan should I use?
9X13″ baking pans work best. The rolls fit well and the shape keeps all the sauce contained so you don’t have to worry about that yummy butter sauce escaping.
Can the sliders be reheated?
The sliders taste best right out of the oven. However, they can be reheated in the oven for up to 3 days after making. Reheat them covered at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. You may want to add some more cranberry sauce and butter sauce of they get dried out. This is what we call leftover leftovers!
