Delicious and satisfying this is The Best Salmon Salad! Made with fresh cooked salmon and loaded with flavors and textures, its a lunch idea you will never get sick of!
Ingredients
2 pounds salmon cooked, skin removed*
1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
1/2 cup red onion, diced
1/4 cup capers
2 tbsp sweet relish
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 cup mayonnaise**
2 tsp dry dill weed
1/2 tsp dill seed
1/2 tsp salt
juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
Add the salmon to a large bowl
Use a fork to flake the salmon into small pieces
Add the yellow and red onions, capers, sweet relish and dijon mustard to the bowl, mix to fully combine
Add the mayo, dill weed, dill seed and salt to the bowl, mix until all the salmon is broken apart and mayo is evenly distributed
Squeeze the lemon juice over the salad, give a final mix
Serve salad cold or at room temperature***
