Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 tbs. cornstarch
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbs rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbs brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 lb. beef strips, seasoned with salt and pepper
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbs sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a small bowl, add water and cornstarch, whisk until cornstarch is dissolved.
- Add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, honey, Sriracha, garlic powder and red pepper flakes, whisk vigorously until sugar and honey dissolve.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add beef strips, cook 1-2 minutes on one side until browned, flip.
- Add broccoli, garlic and sauce.
- Turn skillet up to medium-high heat, simmer about 5 minutes until sauce has thickened and broccoli is cooked.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve over rice.
