Monster Cookie Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter M&Ms (or Resse’s Pieces, Resse’s Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut M&Ms, or all of the above!)

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with blade attachment, add butter, peanut butter, brown and white sugar, mix on high for 2 minutes
  2. Add eggs 1 at a time
  3. Mix in vanilla
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, oats, sea salt and baking soda
  5. Slowly add dry mixture to mixing bowl, mix until just fully combined
  6. Fold in chocolate chunks and M&Ms
  7. Chill dough at least 1 hour
  8. Pre-heat oven to 350°F
  9. Grease *4 – 6.5 inch skillets
  10. Fill each skillet 3/4 full with cookie dough
  11. Bake for 18-20 minutes
  12. Serve warm and top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired

Notes

*I only have 2 skillets so I make them 2 at a time and freeze the rest of the dough. You can also make them as normal cookies instead of skillet cookies, reduce bake time to 10-12 minutes for cookies.
