- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1 cup Peanut Butter M&Ms (or Resse’s Pieces, Resse’s Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut M&Ms, or all of the above!)
Instructions
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with blade attachment, add butter, peanut butter, brown and white sugar, mix on high for 2 minutes
- Add eggs 1 at a time
- Mix in vanilla
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, oats, sea salt and baking soda
- Slowly add dry mixture to mixing bowl, mix until just fully combined
- Fold in chocolate chunks and M&Ms
- Chill dough at least 1 hour
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F
- Grease *4 – 6.5 inch skillets
- Fill each skillet 3/4 full with cookie dough
- Bake for 18-20 minutes
- Serve warm and top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired
Notes
*I only have 2 skillets so I make them 2 at a time and freeze the rest of the dough. You can also make them as normal cookies instead of skillet cookies, reduce bake time to 10-12 minutes for cookies.
