Cranberry Orange Christmas Sangria
Add some Christmas cheer to your holiday gathering with this Cranberry Orange Christmas Sangria! Made with cranberries, orange slices, apple slices, brandy, cinnamon sticks, red wine and a splash of cranberry gingerale!
This Cranberry Orange Christmas Sangria is a Cup of Christmas Cheer! Make this the star drink of your Christmas Party or Holiday Gathering.
Start by filling a large pitcher with fresh cranberries and thin slices of orange and apple.
Next add your favorite bottle of dry red wine.
Top that off with a cup of brandy and 4 cinnamon sticks.
Then put the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 4 and up to 12 hours. This will allow time for all of the flavors to infuse together.
Right before serving prep your wine glasses with a sugared rim. This makes for an extra special presentation and also adds a hint of sweetness to every sip! Next fill each glass about a quarter full with crushed ice and add a few slices of fresh orange and apple on top.
Just before pouring the sangria add 2-4 cups of cranberry gingerale. This lightens up the sangria a bit with the fizziness of the soda and also gives the drink an extra touch of sweetness.
I am also giving you the recipe to impress your guests with Sparkling Cranberries! They are such a fun addition to your holiday party! Use them in drinks or to dress up your cheese plate, your guests will love them! Cheers!
