Description
These Air Fryer Potato Chip Crusted Pork Chops are juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside and take less than 20 minutes to make!
Ingredients
4 one-quarter pound boneless pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
1/4 cup white all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
1 large egg
1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 cup crushed potato chips*
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer at 375°F for 5 minutes
Pat the pork chops dry
Add the flour and salt to a shallow bowl
In another shallow bowl, whisk the egg
In another shallow bowl add the breadcrumbs and potato chips, toss
Working one pork chop at a time, dredge in the flour mixture to thinly coat
Next dip the flour coated pork chop in the egg to coat
Finally, coat the pork chop entirely with the potato chip mixture
Spray the basket of the air fryer with cooking spray
Carefully lay the pork chops in the basket, make sure they are not touching
Spray the tops of the pork chops with cooking spray
Close the air fryer lid and fry at 375°F for 12 minutes**
Notes
*use a thick, sturdy potato chip with ridges
**cook time may vary based on the thickness of your pork chop, 12 minutes is for a 1/2-inch thick pork chop
