March Birch Box!
Hello, hope your Tuesday is going well so far.
I am up in CT this week getting everything ready for the wedding on Saturday! I cannot believe the wedding is only 4 days away! I need you all to start thinking warm, sunny, spring thoughts for Saturday, because this is what we were dealing with yesterday…
And I did not order snow for our wedding day!
Since it is actually April already (not February as you would guess given the weather) it’s time for a peak into my March Birch Box!
It was so nice of Birch Box to design the March box in my wedding colors – how did they know!?
I love that mint/sea foam and gold combo 🙂
Inside the samples included:
Cargo Land Down Under Eye Shadow
This was my favorite sample in this month’s box. The brown and gold really complement each other well. It goes on smooth and stays on well. I am planning to wear it to the rehearsal dinner on Friday! The one down side is that the sample is extremely difficult to open, every time I open it I am afraid I am going to break a nail!
theBalm Cosmetics Stainiac
This is pretty cool. It is a 2-in-1 lip stain and blush. I didn’t care for the color on my lips, but I did like it as a blush. It was a little weird, but easy to throw on and blended well.
Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm
I didn’t really use this, so I am not going to comment on it. At this point, if you have been reading my Birch Box posts, you know I don’t much care for lip balms/chap sticks.
Wilma Schumann – Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads
These were a new experience for me. I have never used a collagen eye pad before. I’m not sure that 1 sample is enough for me to judge whether or not they worked. But they did make the skin under my eyes feel really soft which was nice!
Number 4 Fluoro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil
I only used this a handful of times. Because my hair is pretty thin I am afraid of putting oil in it. In the past when I have it has gotten really clumpy. So, when I used this, I only used a little bit. It did add a nice shine to my hair, but other than that I didn’t notice much difference.
